The Tower of Babel is a story from the Bible:
Once every person spoke the same language. They all settled down in Shinar. They started to build a tower; a temple that would reach the heavens. Then God came down said "They are one people and have one language, and nothing will be withholden from them which they purpose to do." so he mixed up the languages, and scattered the people all over the face of the earth. This is why it is called babel because all the languages were mixed up.

Deeper Meaning

The deeper meaning might be that man is not all that they think they are, that there might be a power that is better than them. Also maybe that some people think they are superior to other people or races, even when they might not be. what you build someone else can allways knock down. the diffreent laungues is like confusion: someone else comming into your work space and confusing you.

  • About disobedience and arrogance
  • Humans always want to show their achievements
  • Think they can defeat anything
