Analysis:The meaning of this passage has to do with the control over the world, and how timing is everything. The passage lists certain events and their opposites and says that each event has its own time. This means that a higher power has control over when specific events occur. This also means that this ‘higher power’ has control over our lives, and that he/she has a set plan for when things will happen in our lives: such as, death, war, love, and lose. These things have a certain sequence in our lives also so that these events may be isolated or put together. These events can be as simple as the changing of the seasons, because although we may be used to these repeating changes they are critical to wild life. This can be compared with everyday things that we do; such as eating and sleeping. They way we eat and sleep may change but no matter what they have a repeating pattern that each person needs to survive.
