“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

The Ecclesiastes is a passage in the bible written around the 4th century. It describes the control God has over time; that some things are out of our control. It shows that their is a time for everything. In time things happen in sequence or repeatedly in the world.

Deeper Meaning:

God has absolute control over everything. Everything happens for a reason and is part of God's plan; God creates a time for everything to occur. The season have been appointed their own time, and that is unchangeable. The passage describes how birth and rebirth, sequence and repetition take place in life. These things are all out of our reach and are entrusted in God's hands. Time is an invention created by God: It can be edited only by God. Essentially, go with the flow, because there is not much you can change in the way of time.
